One Response to Respect

  • Coming from a military family, this picture is very moving. You see, my husband of 17 years was wounded in Iraq. He has endured a long fight to get healthy but his recovery is far from being over. Men who were his comrades and fought alongside with weren’t so lucky to survive. Every time there is a new report of another fallen soldier, it takes him to a place which I’ll never understand. My father served in Vietnam and his father in WWII and Korea. To this day I don’t remember them talking about their war time service. This picture touches deep the feelings that I know they all experienced and wish that they hadn’t. I’m amazed and grateful, for coming across your website and this photo allows a small part of me to see those feelings that my husband and our brave men and women sacrifice to protect our freedom. Thank you!
